Willie was born on 1 February 1876 in Glebe, Buncrana, Co. Donegal, and married Helen V Gallagher (1881 - 1967), the daughter
of Anthony Gallagher of Downings, Co. Donegal. They move to Glasgow, Scotland (as did William's brothers, Daniel and Denis),
where William opened up a bootmaking shop in Whiteinch, on the west side of Glasgow, and where Helen (Nellie) was a school
headmistress.
William and Helen had five children:
John Francis, 1908;
Evelyn Rose, 1909;
Anthony, 1911 -1912;
William Joseph, 1914;
Hugh Patrick, 1915.
John Francis Bradley
John F Bradley (1908 - 1979) was a Senior Probation Officer and married Isabel Campbell (1907 - 1997). They had two children:
John Bernard and Hugh Paul.
John B Bradley married Sheila McNaught and they have three children: Laura, Andrew and Julie. Laura married Jim Black,
and they have two children: Cameron and Gregor.
Hugh P Bradley married Patricia Fautley but were divorced. Hugh later married Mary Quinn.
Evelyn Rose Bradley
Evelyn Bradley married John McGowen and they have three children: Rosemary Gemma, Evelyn (Patricia) and Veronica Elizabeth.
Rosemary married Kevin Prendergast, and they have six children: Catherine Anne married Mark Maher; Paul Francis; Michael
John; Helen Veronica; Andrew Peter and Gerard Philip.
Patricia married Barry Mawer, and they have four children: Fiona Patricia married Barry Unwin, and they have one child,
Kisty; Jane Louise; David Barry; and Anthony John.
Veronica married Thomas Whiteside, and they have seven children: Veronica Clare married Lawrence Beck; Paul Andrew married
Helen Frankland, and they have two children, Andrew and Ruth; Ann-Marie; John Anthony married Elizabeth Hall, and they have
one child, Molly; Mary Louise; James Thomas; and Heather Elizabeth.
William Joseph Bradley
Willie (Bill) Bradley married Gertie Gilheney, and they have three children: Liam Anthony, Michael Joseph and Clare Francis.
Liam married Judy Godsell, and they have three children: Mark Andrew, Sarah Louise and Joanna Mary.
Michael married Lorraine Briggs, and they have seven children: Hannah Ruth; Brendan Joseph; (twins) Dominic and Patrick;
Carmel; Estelle; and Isabel Marie.
Clare married Joseph McAuley, and they have three children: Matthew Joseph, Frances Elaine and Philip Anthony.
Hugh Patrick Bradley
Hugh P Bradley (1915 - 1995) was a teacher and married Tess Doyle (1919 - 1999) on 22 September 1942. They had four children:
Maureen Anne married Stuart Fleming, and they have two children, Mark McQuarrie and Paul Alexandra; Dermot Anthony married
Susan Bugg, and they have two children, Jeremy Richard and Anna Estelle who married James Right; Evelyn; and Kevin who married
Ros West, and have one child, Frederik.
